Who Does Kyle Work With?

Who I Work With

I specialize in working with boys and young men—primarily teenage boys and their families—navigating the often overwhelming challenges of growing up in today’s culture. I also support parents who are seeking guidance, perspective, and tools to strengthen their connection with their child.

Common Needs and Presentations

The young men and families I work with often come in facing one or more of these concerns:

  • Anxiety & Stress: Worries about school, sports, friendships, or the future that feel overwhelming or paralyzing.

  • Depression & Low Motivation: Withdrawal, sadness, loss of interest, or difficulty finding purpose.

  • Family Conflict: Strained parent–child relationships, frequent arguments, or communication breakdowns.

  • Behavioral Challenges: Struggles with rules, respect, anger, or impulsivity at home or school.

  • Social Struggles: Difficulty making or keeping friends, navigating peer pressure, or handling conflict.

  • Substance Use: Experimentation or reliance on drugs and alcohol that causes concern for the individual or family.

  • Life Transitions: Coping with divorce, blended family changes, loss, or big shifts in school/athletics.

  • Identity & Self-Confidence: Questions around self-worth, values, spirituality, or direction in life.

What Clients Are Looking For

Families who reach out to me aren’t looking for quick fixes—they’re looking for meaningful change. Most want:

  • A safe place where their son feels seen, understood, and respected.

  • Practical tools to handle stress, emotion, and conflict.

  • Restored communication and trust within the family.

  • Confidence that their child is moving toward maturity, responsibility, and resilience.
